About us

Didymus was established in 2013 and in the past 11 years has made grants worth just over £2 million to a range of small charities operating in both the UK and overseas.

To date Didymus has used an open application process, with deadlines typically 2 or 3 times per year. A strategy review was undertaken in 2023/4, partly in response to the significant increase in funding applications the Trust has received in recent years, and the new grant strategy launched in Autumn 2024. Our new strategy has a focus on proactive grantmaking, supporting projects which make the arts more accessible and inclusive in Greater London and Yorkshire. Didymus currently has 4 Trustees, and a part time Grant Officer who supports the grant assessment and management.
